Trentuno lavoratori irregolari in 19 aziende ispezionate

Una settimana di indagini serrate, condotte dai funzionari della Direzione Territoriale del Lavoro di Lecce, diretti da Virginio Villanova, e dai carabinieri del Nil (Nucleo Ispettivo del Lavoro), a seguito di segnalazioni anonime pervenute all’Ispettorato del Lavoro.

Il controllo di cantieri, officine, esercizi pubblici, aziende metalmeccaniche e di servizi, per un totale di 19 aziende, a Lecce e in provincia nei centri di Caprarica, Lizzanello, Cavallino, Squinzano, Trepuzzi, Copertino, Tricase, Casarano, Maglie e San Cassiano, ha evidenziato la presenza di 31 lavoratori in nero, tra cui un minore.

In quest’ultimo caso, il datore di lavoro e i genitori del ragazzo sono stati denunciati perché il minore non poteva accedere al mondo del lavoro non avendo ancora compiuto il sedicesimo anno d’età.

Particolarmente grave la situazione riscontrata in due cantieri edili a Trepuzzi, dove tutti e dieci i lavoratori impiegati sono risultati irregolari ed addirittura occupati contemporaneamente in diversi cantieri e per conto di imprese differenti.

Gli ispettori hanno provveduto a sospendere l’attività nei due cantieri fino alla regolarizzazione della posizione occupazionale dei lavoratori.

In un comune dell’entroterra, all’interno di una fabbrica di componenti per ascensori, invece, quattro operai sui sei occupati sono risultati irregolari.

In questo caso, sono tuttora in corso le indagini: si ipotizzerebbe una percezione indebita di indennità di sostegno al reddito da parte degli operai con la presunta complicità del datore di lavoro.

Al momento, i reati contestati, per un totale di 133 illeciti amministrativi, vanno dalle violazioni inerenti la normativa sul lavoro nero, all’irregolare tenuta del Libro Unico del lavoro, fino all’inosservanza della consegna dei tesserini di riconoscimento.

In tutto, l’attività imprenditoriale è stata sospesa in nove aziende, poichè il personale irregolare è risultato superiore al 20% del totale impiegato. Le aziende risultate irregolari sono state segnalate alla Guardia di Finanza, all’Inps e all’Inail.

Nel frattempo, le indagini proseguono per accertare altre eventuali violazioni.
